Hi, what is the best bit of kit other than your bike you have in your garage. what gadgets should we look out for? Mine is an old laptop filled with workshop manuals, I would love a ramp but not to sure if i have the room.

Laptop with power commander & HRC software plus itunes, my tyre tree, makes storing spare wheels much easier.

Parts washer, Compresser, Pillar drill, and snap on cordless impact wrench all highly important.

Best bit of kit in the Garage would be the Bike

I love the idea of kitting it out with laptops and stuff, but issues with getting 230v in the garage, was hard enough to get the optimiser to work!

But I love my snap on tool kit  bought by the wife.

just put my dads ramp in the garage, got the vfr on it, beleive me it saves room as you can put stuff on the ramp and jack it up out the way.

also i like it as you can hide the levres etc so its hard to get down which adds a bit of security imo... more buggeration = leave the old girl alone and nick the blade!! ha ha

Tanstair, have you thought about a small generator outside the garage/shed, i suitcase one is quiet enough not to annoy anybody and power everything you need?

No doubt in my mind that the best thing in my garage is my Abba stand, wouldn't be without one

Oww my snap on tools and big chest. very handy and should last a lifetime. other than that the heater and dehumidifier I just put in there. so I can work ( garage is at the bottom of the garden) in warm and know it won't get too damp in the winter

Was sure I would have said my abba superbike stand as it s so useful but have got to say my battery trickle charger its that good I forgot I had it, it just does the perfect job and you don,t even notice its there, not the most special of tools but invaluable. Just put your bike into storage for the winter months with complete confidence it will fire up first time on the button come next spring.

After my little encounter with BT last week my broadband shot up to the lofty heights of 1.1 MB. You don't look impressed......Well if I was to say it was 8 times faster than it was before you'll understand why I was impressed. Anyway, that lasted from Wednesday afternoon to Friday afternoon when it dropped back to 200 KB again.
