what map to use on 09 blade, with, pcv, bmc air filter,o2 eliminator,& arrow gp2 exhaust

hi,i was running with a yoshi r77 exhaust with a custom map on pcv on my 09 abs blade, i have now fitted an arrow gp2 exhaust, don't know if to run with yoshi map,or put map from dyno web site for running with standard exhaust, replacement air filter,&o2 eliminator fitted.i thought standard exhaust because on arrow site says bike will run ok without any other mods.i will try later both maps but i usually can not tell any difference,so is anybody else running arrow gp2 and what setup are you using,or as any body had a custom map done which they could send me.what do you think.thanks BRI

I've got 58 blade with gp2 and pv5 but have yet to get it properly set up, so its on standard map. The fuelling is a bit crap down low 2.5-3.5 rpm it stutters annoyingly (mostly due to the noise) there is also a blip in power pulls from 4 then gets progressively more mental from 5 upwards. I'm gonna get it properly set up at a dyno centre and am hoping for a much smoother pull from low with more across the range (as promissed by them in the know. Hope that helps.

Hi thanks, been trying all dynojet maps from web site, gone back to my yoshi map don't seem to bad,can you answer a question on fitting.i bought mine second hand with no fitting instructions, all i have is exhaust can, connecting pipe and two springs do you just slot together and put springs on ,or do they recommend using exhaust paste, and what the chances off if you do get custom map done of sending to me file to try please. Thanks bri

Connecting wise mine was bought like that, i.e i didn't fit it. All other exhausts I have fitted I tend to use paste.......it usually cracks but by then the sooting up seals it. Best way to test seal is to rag in a low gear then shut off. If airs drawn in the hot pipe will burn it and unspent fuel causing loud popping and banging on the over run. Mine pops occasionally on gear shifts and overun when really giving it the beans........but thats just added character.....cool.
Yeah I'm shure I could sort a map out for you once mine is sorted, perhaps we could trade them and see which ones work best with different conditions.
