Megs ultimate mate…just used it. Beats the other megs stuff for shine, NXT and their step 1,2 and 3…easier to use too.

Got a contact at Autobrite, Mark Moss. Really helpful bloke, responds fast and good recommendations, emailed him this afternoon for a heads up on what's new and good in the world of detailing, being in the market for some new snow foam and leather food.

I've been using his products for years and highly recommend then.
As for snow foam have you tried the custard color yet? I got some strange looks over the weekend while washing the motor

No I haven't. I got the one that smells of bananas from him. Christ it's concentrated. The foam is still on the drive the day after. It looks like its just snowed on my house.

I went to them after Ultimate Finish refused to contact me after twice I tried to find out if they could supply me with a replacement part for the snow foam gun I bought from them. Mark returned my email within hours with the part number I wanted and got it to me first thing the next day. That'll do.

He did intimate then that he'd be happy to help out the forum at any time but Rob had his own detailing company selling to the members so it wouldn't have been politic.

The Ultimate wax is £26, the polish and the compound is a tenner or so each. You only need a bit, so it goes a long way mate,.

By the look of things, I'd use anything Si recommends.

Have you seen the pictures of his bike? Unreal!

I find it tough to get a shine I'm happy with with modern car paints. My last car with environment destroying paint was my black 205. Half an hour with the Autoglym and it looked like the event horizon of a black hole. I could spend half a day on making it look like Si's bike. My 206 though, I just haven't been able to get a deep, deep cibachrome finish to it and the Mazda is the same.

I'm after the holy grail polish before I start on finding a good wax.
