apart from slow speed/filtering etc i dont think i ever used a back brake. well, not since i got punted over the high side after using it to back into corners instead of locking everything up and smashing the engine/gearbox to bits.

want some wavy discs at some point though. i know they eat pads, but are they really worth it or are they just bling?

Interesting. I find that my right foot twitches only as a reflex response to the thought 'oh shittttttt!'.

    Very Pavlovian.

I have Galfer rear but I like to use my rear brake unlike most, the galfer runs a little cooler as less surface area so the brake stays a little more consistant as like I say I trail brake and she can get a little warm.. :S Wavey discs are ONLY for bling, less surface area = less braking power simple, think about it NO ONE in racing runs them! They were taken in from MX/Enduro bikes as they look cool the real use for them is to keep dirt clear of the calipers and clean the face of the pads in deep mud etc. If you want a good rear brake disc get a OEM Brembo replacement from eBay or as said Armstrong/Galfer.. As for those discs that look like a saw....they sould be on a saw...lol I have seen loads (well about three pairs) of chinky discs warp but someone on here not so long back did find a cheap pair of waveys that Jonny said were good value and at the price they were I would agree.... Brembo T drives for me.. :D
