    Hi guys,

Having removed the seat to put the optimate on my rr5 yesterday to see her through the rest of winter (was chuffed as she has sat since end sept and still started despite having no charger on her till now) i found that the previous owner has obviously crossed the thread in one side.

They appear to have pressed on regardless so now the bolt is extremely hard to fit and remove and as a result has been almost rounded off.

I'm not gonna bother rethreading the hole at this point but do need some new bolts to refit the seat so....

after all that waffling, does anyone know the exact size of these bolts??

Many thanks and happy new year

    Nick

Do you mean the captive nut that is actually in the seat?

sorry just realised i have posted this in the wrong section....

I mean the bolt that goes through the two holes at the back of the seat (through the metal sleeves that are in the white plastic of the seat)

Looks like its about 20mm long and at a guess 6mm diameter but i'm not too sure and wasnt sure exactly what bits to measure??

    cheers

Probably easier to just buy one direct from your local dealer
