Opie Oils I have a few different makes of oil's car and bike that I have and a few of them are 3-6 years old and different grades, 0w30, 15w50 etc... Now I know I can use these oil's to lube old hinges etc... But is there anything else I can use them in or on. main reason for not using them is they are different grades to what i have in my car/bikes now. But I don;t want t waste them Any ideas? And not just a question or Opie Oils
I give mine to my brothers law as he has an oil fired boiler and he buys waste oil to burn so it saves him a few shillings.
Stick it all in one container and give it to someone with an older car or van to use. A 5w30 is ok to use as a top up in most vehicles of today.New cars are oil specific with different additives in them for dpf's, cats, egr valves and variable cam timing. We carry 14 different oils now.10 years ago we had 5 grades. cannot wait for the supermarkets to scratch their heads carrying the 14 they should carry.
Decant it in 100ml bottles, send it to Giv to use on his Nylon thatch instead of Brylcream. Makes barbies hair silky smoooooooth..............
