Just looking at a couple of posts on folk doing 500 - 600 in on hit got me wondering how many miles you have done in a single hit..?

For me it was from Nice back home to Oxfordshire....

On my Kawasaki z1000, back in 2008... had an airhawk seat cushion on the bike so my arse was fine but took about 3 days to fully get the feeling back in my fingers.

    1150 miles in 13 hours.

Only stops was for fuel and the channel tunnel crossing.

    So what have you done??

For me its the 580 odd miles from Le Harvre to Millau - left ferry 08:00 I think and was in town square just after 19:00 having a beer in the very pleasant town square

Le Havre, France to Millau, France - Google Maps

With mega mile trips the key is staying hydrated, avoid caffine till you really struggle and alternate quick fuel stops with longer ones to get a proper break.

    That was on a Blade

my problem was the roads were too straight,
I must have been using the wrong ones as I was
told they were all nice twisty ones.

I can only ride for about 45-1hour then I have to stop as the bad joints start to get sore and have to stop for a stretch

Not in a single day, but our annual trip to the Pyrenees and back via SW Germany is around 3000 miles in 5 days, riding around 8 to 10 hours a day, the pressure points on your ass become like objects of torture, the final day is mind over matter.

Reg do 400 miles a day on tour, weekend away, big Sunday hack... Done 500+ a couple of times which is hard!! But all of that is avoiding motorways and tolls. What's the point when your away. Rather skip the coffee breaks, eat / drink at fuel fill ups and stick a roll in the rucksack and go scenic on the side of the road for lunch.

As phantom said its more the roads than the actual mile count, come home from assen two up on my old r6 with a hangover of the century. Hardest ride of my life.... Only 380 miles!
