20 quid for a clapped out road going 50 . It was an old honda but cant remember the model .. No back tyre so sparks everywhere as we blasted up the tip . no brakes at all , The throttle had snapped so we routed the cable up and around the frame and down and tied it to the brake peddle . So foot throttle ha ha It was the best day ever then we rapped it into the river lol
500 for a mint 2 owner Uk model NC30, owner had passed on & a mate alerted me to it, after he had cleared it i went round and spoke to the lass about it, she had no idea what it was, and even when i told her what it was worth she said she didnt care as her other half would want it enjoyed & not sat in a garage. I later found out she put that 500 behind the bar at his belated wake when his regiment returned from tour.

I was given a Honda C50 for my 16th birthday by my dads mate, he brought it up from Felixstowe in the back of a landrover, it was a bit tatty, but a tin of hammerite soon solved that, little belter when we had finished it there was no link pipe so we made one from 28mm copper pipe, we cocked the bend up and ended up cutting the pipe so we could turn it to the correct angle and used a conex fitting as a joint, my plumbing tutor at the time was well impressed, it was quite fast too, oh the memories of going out courting and going down the A17 to Holbeach nearly being sucked in by artics and spat back out again, as my uncle used to say " Boy a fanny would draw you further than dynamite could blow you"
