Out of interest what's your longest trip in one day on a Fireblade or any other bike?

Today I did 230 miles on my Blade (Hay-On Wye), to see my old family home, Me, my Mother, Grandmother and Great grandfather have all lived in this house.
Last year I did 430 (Lands End) on my CB1300.

Longest day trip I ever did was 350. From south of Glasgow to Skye via the west coast taking in Inveraray, lochgilphead, Oban, Fort William, Invergarry, Kyle of Lochalsh and without doubt the best views I have ever seen. Took 7 hours all in but was worth every pain and niggle.

Do lands end and back regular.. From Kent it's about 850 miles in two days which is pretty full on!!

Also done from Grenoble to nice up and down route napoleon... About 14 hours in the saddle of pure bliss... Loved it, but was in serious pain the next day!!

Nothing compared to my pal, he is a machine, done Dover to landsend and back in 24hrs and also smashed the iron butt challenge 1000 miler in about 15 hours...

2 years ago when my blade was 2 weeks old i took it to donington for a trackday, ok so what.

i live in central scotland i left at 1.30am to get there for 7.30 sign on. 330 miles later got to donington a bit stiff but happy.

had a great day on track done loads of laps on the fantastic track. left around 4.30pm clear run home back for about 10.30pm a very happy bunny but totally knackered.

so around 660 miles plus many laps and it stayed dry as well.

My back can't take long bike trips so I can't really join in. About 150 miles and I really need to get off, which, coincidentally, is about a careful tankfull anyway. I just wanted to post to say what a great looking cottage that is.

I had to move with work from North Walea to the Highlands a total of 510 miles on a '99 ZX9R ..... If that wasn't bad enough it chucked it down from Sterling to Lossiemouth ..... If only I had water proofs !! Laugh about it now but was bloody crying at the time ha ha

I did 450 miles to Lands end for a pie and chips on my speed triple. Left home at 7AM and got back at 5pm. that was M4 to A30 to lands end and via Plymouth on the way back. And my euro trip approx 400 miles from the north of France to below Bordeaux 5 weeks ago.

    I did 380 miles in a day.
From home to Southend and another place in Essex.
    I wouldn't do it again!
I found 1.5 hrs. in the saddle at a time is as much as i could stand on a trip of that length.
It wasn't too bad on the way there, but torture on the way back.

We regular go out from 7.30 am until 5pm on a Sunday... feel a bit tired when i get home, but well worth it.

A few of us are riding over to Italy next year, Eurotunnel to Calais, then to Italy. It will be 2 days of solid riding and i can't wait!
