So I'm going to get the wheels off and prep them for the powder coater. I've never taken wheel bearings out before so am I right in thinking that I just need to use a drift to tap them out from the other side?

Are you supposed to heat the wheel up first to make them easier to remove?

I wouldn't put any heat into an alloy wheel, the bearings should come out easy enough with a drift

Mine knocked out easy with a drift bar, just place wheel on a firm surface and a firm ish tap of the bearing and out they pop! White wheels look ace!!

Lol. I really can't make my mind up. I've always liked the look of the HRC blades with the gold wheels and as mine's not a million miles away with the colours I thought it might look good.

Your back wheel need 4 bearings 6 if your doing all eBay or local bike shop front wheel 2, back 4 make sure you match them up.
