So I'm going to get the wheels off and prep them for the powder coater. I've never taken wheel bearings out before so am I right in thinking that I just need to use a drift to tap them out from the other side? Are you supposed to heat the wheel up first to make them easier to remove?
Mine knocked out easy with a drift bar, just place wheel on a firm surface and a firm ish tap of the bearing and out they pop! White wheels look ace!!
Lol. I really can't make my mind up. I've always liked the look of the HRC blades with the gold wheels and as mine's not a million miles away with the colours I thought it might look good.
Beat me too it,...lol don't come round my workshop will ya, I make a pair last all week....lol! That is until my mates little girl comes round and insists on blowing up all my nice gloves up into balloons with the blow gun....
Your back wheel need 4 bearings 6 if your doing all eBay or local bike shop front wheel 2, back 4 make sure you match them up.
