ok chaps, need to get my wheels powder coated, mainly cos its cheaper than paint and frankly ive not heard anything bad about powder coat for a long long time so figured why not.

had the RC8 wheels painted but that was 'all in' the paint job deal i arranged and colour matched to the panels, with the Blade i simply want the wheels white.....yes i know how mucky they get but it'll work lovely with my new panels coming :)

SO........ anybody know a really good powder coater?

    cheer boys

Cheers chaps, I'll give a few a ring today from the mentioned, all are pretty far from me but that shouldn't cause a problem.

I had the wheels powder coated on the R1 from silver to black, paint finish always looks better and you have much more choice of colour and matching exsisting paint, however powder coat is more chip and abrasive resistent.

Damo! don't forget you need to remove dust seals and bearings from the wheels before coating. Make sure they mask the relevant areas including the hub face that the discs bolt to. You can refit dust seals if you haven't damaged them , but always replace bearings with good quality, non Chinese, ones !
