Whoops a bit late at seeing this, would of popped over that way if I had seen it earlier, maybe next time
My bike is still in track day trim from Tuesday because we doing Cadwell tomorrow, so I am not road legal would have loved to have come out as weather looks great, oh well maybe another time Carl when are you going to join us on a track day, it's what your blade was made for
Carl, good to see you today for a very relaxed and leisurely natter, weather was lovely 24 degrees of wall to wall sunshine. Makes you feel good to be out on a bike if a little sweaty in a leather onesie. Rp1, shame you read it a bit too late to roll up. Simon, good luck at Cadwell, oh, and we told Mr cheerful at the coffee stand that you would settle up for our drinks next time, as you are paying Carl also had a cheese burger, hope that’s ok matey..
You're gonna have to give me more notice than that, i was in the garden stripping and repainting the garden furniture
I don’t know about my cash but I took a long way round route today full of A roads and dual carriageways on the way there and then fast and twisty B roads on the way back and its sapped my forearm muscles, they are well pumped this evening and feel like someone has been whacking them with a piece of 4x2 and then for good measure a couple of solid clouts round the back of my neck, I can hardly hold my head up. No one told me Ducati's are comfortable but they did say that that when you get it right, there is no feeling like it, they just forgot to mention the feeling is in your arms and neck.
Sorry Muff, it was a spur of the moment thing, still I bet you feel proud of yourself having smart garden just in time for the winter, just think how much fun you can have doing it all again in the Spring.
No nothing exciting really Chris, they are opening a new building for the Honda section but its not opened yet. Used the loo and had a quick look round, I wanted to have a look at a CB1100 retro (which they didn’t have) as Ling is still doing my head in about riding pillion and I don’t think the Panigale, even if it had a rear seat and pegs fitted would be good for our relationship. Looks like I might have to have two bikes if I am going to shut her up. Mainly just sat in the sunshine drinking coffee with Carl.
Good to meet up again David, I put in 244 miles today and bagged on of my must do this season bucket list achievements, no not knee down sadley. I would love to join you and Paul Simon, however, I'm not ready to track my pride and joy, muffs got the right idea, with a dedicated track bike, may be next season?
Eating that huge double cheese burger and then managing to do up your jacket without breathing in afterwards? Come on, spill the beans Carl....
Having to have two bikes now that is a shame! Didn't realise they were having a new building. Haven't they just opened a site for Kawasaki? They're getting like Marshall's in Cambs a bit to big, I'd be worried that they will lose any personal touch they might of had. Glad you enjoyed your chill in the sunshine..
