I asked this a while back but haven't got round to doing it yet. Want to put exhaust eliminator on a connection coming from Servo Motor but not sure where it is? I'm away from bike at minute but just wondering? Is it under the seat and is it the white connection I have to put the eliminator into?see photo Thanks
Under the seat. Does the bike still have the servo motor installed? If so, just plug the servo eliminator into the connector you remove from the servo.
But where is the Servo Motor? I've been told it's under the seat but I can't see it? See photo I need to plug this eliminator thing into the servo connection so that I don't get this flashing red light I've taken off the flap in air box in the past and cables going to lower left of bike but can't remember what else I did. If someone tells me where the servo motor on a 929 is I can go from there is it under the tank?
No sorry this doesn't help What would help if you can tell me where the Servo Motor is located on a 2001 Honda Fireblade 2001 Under the tank? On the lower left hand side? Under the seat? WHERE? Where is it? Is the Servo motor the thing with pulleys? If so I need to take off lower fairing to connect this exhaust eliminator I don't even know what a servo motor looks like.
The servo motor is clearly identified and named in the pics, particularly in pic 2. It also shows it as 'the thing with the pulleys'. It's located under the tank cover to the left hand side and should be obvious. The linked video might also help you identify it:
Nigel I apologise for my curt responses to your post and even after my cheeky post you still replied and gave me info which shows what a good person you are, just going through weird times at the minute were small problems seem massive! I was having a big time bad weekend but that isn't an excuse All the info was in those diagrams you posted but I was too stupid on Saturday to see it Sorry again and really appreciate info
No probs at all. I am truly angelic on this forum and only wish that you have managed to resolve the issue and get the bike up and running. That's what's important. Cheers!
Cheers pal, yes got it sorted today turns out I did remove the servo motor (if you haven't already realised I like beer maybe too much) Was left with a lot of black tape where I tried to solder the wires (which I remember about a year ago) so I wouldn't have to buy an eliminator but didn't work So put in eliminator today (From Greece) and Red light has gone fantastic I'm actually amazed that it worked Thanks again
John, never use black tape and solder again. Try these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100-4-Si...124984?hash=item4d80b98a38:g:M7UAAOSwLKhcJKOY
