Rode in this morning. 38 degrees (3.3 for you Celsius folks). They talk about global warming, and still nothing. I, for one, am not happy about this! However, the bike absolutely LOVES the cold air.
That's why "they" changed the "problem" name from "Global Warming" to "Climate change". Indeed, the average temperatures on Earth are rising, but that doesn't mean you get higher temperatures everywhere, some places it gets colder. That's all the result of the "Climate change".
I'm just going to buy a large piece of property and build a track in the middle of the desert. Everyone is invited.
Sitting on Carmel beach today, 26C, watching thrashers attempt to play the 14th on Pebble Beach, nothing wrong with global warming
I was trying to capture the actual elevation an drop at the corkscrew, but just like you see on TV, I failed, you can only appreciate the challenges it poses close up and also the amount of sandy dust on the track that would weigh on your mind every time you turn in and wait for the front to scrub out.
