Hi all, I'm visiting the UK next week and was wondering if any of you could point me in the right direction as to where I can source clothing gear (preferably Dainese), and perhaps any places that specialise in suspension parts. Open to anything really! I'll mainly be in London, but will be also be visiting Bournemouth & Oxford. The only place I can recall is Infinity Motorcycles. Feel free to share any websites you have Thanks for reading.
https://www.dainese.com/us/en/corporate/stores/dainese-store-london/ Dainese has a store in London on Commercial Street
He asked for a Dainese spot, so I obliged. I wear a Heroic suit but own a Dainese jacket for the street. Unless your post was meant for the original poster..lol..
I've purchased from Infinity before and found their prices very good. They have some good specials from time-to-time. As far as suspension, and your request for 'specialised' parts, this is an area in which you should probably know what you want rather than looking at stuff on a shelf and purchasing at random. Sure, we can purchase a new shocker or fork springs, but unless they are compatible with our weight and bike usage the product may not be the best for your/our needs. Without knowing exactly what you want to buy, I recommend being close enough to certain of the product you need before choosing a retailer. Remember that many retailers will sell you a product solely for the sale and not for your benefit.
Thanks for the suggestions so far all. There's these particular Dainese gloves I'm looking for and just wanted to compare prices. Are far as suspension goes, I'm quite familiar with what I'm after. As for setting up it up for my weight/bike usage I'll be doing the setup here. The market is quite small here compared to Australia, and buying parts overseas is usually a b*tch on postage and import tax fees. Hoping to find Ohlins/Brembos, and once again see what prices I'll be looking at.
If you are here for the 15th-17th Feb there is a bike show at the Excel in London, may be able to get a bargain. https://www.mcnmotorcycleshow.com/
Thank you, I actually did see this a while ago but completely forgot. Just need to double check on the schedule with the lady.
Can you not order online when you are in the UK and have delivered to the hotel/accommodation you will be in?
Yes, so long as the order form specifies 'different delivery address'. It would also be wise to advise the hotel/accommodation that the parcel will be arriving on such a day. I have done exactly this when ordering a Pit Bull stand from USA just recently (it was shipped to a hotel for a friend to collect). I just made sure I specified delivery a day earlier than his arrival just in case of any hiccups!
