Just purchased a carbon lower heat shield from Powerbronze.
I can't for the life of me find where to attatch it. The two attatchment holes don't seem to line up together with anything on the bike.

Do i need to remove the metal heat shield ? If so, the rear set has an attatchment to this ??

    Anyone got any ideas ?

Should fit into the original holes.
Mind you I cut the alloy cover on mine in half and painted
The lower bit black to blend it in a little.

The original one has been taken off mine, but that is an Akra one. From Phantom's pic I reckon it needs to be removed.

    Thanks for the replies.
Just gone out there and had a look - the bottom of the shield is blocked by the metal marked by the yellow arrow.

This seems to be the rear set attatchment to the metal heat shield - can this attatchment be taken off and if so i'm assuming that there is a hole for the lower part of the carbon shield ??
