    Hey guys,

Please excuse the dirt, I haven't ridden my bike since March 2020, I know, it's insane. I'm getting her sorted out now and doing some upgrades to make her a joy to ride.

I want to mount a phone on my bike. Qi wireless charging would be nice.

It looks like a phone isn't going to fit on my handlebars without the phone knocking into the tank or windshield.

Which means the phone must mount above the key, or on the left or right fork (where it says TEN)

This amazon item says it has wireless charging and advertises "fork" and "CBR" etc.
But most of these "fork" phone mounts appear to actually mount on the stem, rather than the fork.
And since my bike is CBR1000RR 2004 with the HESD, there is no stem accessible to mount stuff onto.
Which means I must actually mount the phone on one of those goodies that say TEN.

This one has the Qi wireless charging and "fork" mount but doesn't show the mounting plate with the hole in it.

On the other hand, this item shows a mounting plate, but no wireless charging.

Unfortunately I'm a total noob with this stuff. So this claim about the mount expanding and all that is outside of my experience.

Can I just take the nut off one of those TEN thingys and then take a metal strip with a hole in it, and put it on, then put the nut back on top?

It looks like none of the mounts on Amazon are what I'm actually looking for, which is
"Fork phone mount with Qi wireless charging"

But I can see that I can get a bar-mount Qi wireless charger (costs less also) then I can just macguyver a mounting plate, as long as it's okay to take off one of those TEN nuts and then put a plate under it, then put it back on.
Bar mount Qi Wireless charger (remove bar ring, and bolt & epoxy a plate to it, then bolt plate to bike)

Is the TEN thing spring loaded or pressurized? Will I lose an eye if I loosen one of those TEN nuts?

Mind there are a pair of mounting positions on the forward pointing face of the top yoke - either side of the ignition switch.

They have little plastic plugs in them that just prise out with a screwdriver.
