    Hi there.

I plan on getting a new exhaust and filter for the bike along with the pcv and custom map.

Only thing I'm stuck on is which filter to go with. I've heard about the standard filter being really good so is there any point in splashing out on an aftermarket filter?

From what I know I was told to try the K&N. not a huge difference in power output But it can be cleaned and saves ££ in the end. My plan for next spring is to get a Bazzaz, dyno time and change the air filter.

Hoping others can give a better reply

Pipercross gave our race bikes the best gain, that was compared to K&N, MWR, BMC and few others we tried.

Really rate the Pipercross stuff, as do a number of top race teams, including Parkalgar Honda. We've just finished a group buy, but can do a good enough deal on them still.

    Cheers

i back to backed all of the above mentioned filters on the dyno on my old 07 and my fathers old 09 race bike, the very little (0.6bhp average on the 07 & 1bhp average on the 09) difference they make doesnt justify the cost, you would be surprised how many top honda race teams use standard filters....

We accept payment via paypal or credit/debit card over the phone.

Tried to PM you but your inbox is full.

Not sure on that, as a lot of development of filters takes place with some top Honda teams. We've found the Pipercross filter provides much better performance than the stock Honda item and even the HRC kit filter, which is just a guaze. Proven by Parkalgar & Bogdanka Honda in World Championships.
