Thinking of selling the blade for a vfr 1200. Been offered a 2010 with luggage higher scorpion can and heated grips with 10 000 miles for £7200 or brand new with akra can and all the extras for 13000. Is the newer model any better or worse than the older model.

Had one after my blade, its def better with fuelling etc, surprisingly agile once you get confident with its weight and very quick
But i struggled with the jerkyness with no chain and its just not a sportsbike, great if your gonna do big miles but a but dull fir a 2 hr blast

I had this problem several years ago sold my blade and bought a blackbird. My other half doesn't go pillion anymore so just sold the bird and bought anothr blade. My advice would be buy a cheap bird and keep your blade as well. multi bike insurance aint as expensive as you think

since you've posting the question on a blade forum, rather than a vfr forum :) ... unless you're mega-convinced the VFR will suit you better, keep the blade, and get a VFR as a second bike if you want something more "touring".
