Which Generator??

    I'm looking for a generator to use for my tyre warmers....
    What output am i looking for so it does the job??

    The tyre warmers are the standard Moto GP ones.

    1.2kw will do your warmers no probs. warmers total rating is around 1kw (usually less) but you want a genny that has a bit of power to spare.

    get a honda one if possible ,with at least a couple of kw if possible .so you can plug a kettle in for a brew
    i bought a cheapo sumo genny off ebay although you could get them through screwfix until they stopped selling them as they were crap.
    bllody crap to start and when the pull cord unit plastics broke when trying to start it ,i couldnt get spare parts. i have to start it with a cordless drill and socket now.

    Totally agree with that, Honda all the way and look out for the copies, we have people who bring then into work for repair and can't get any bits for them!

    I've just bought one off eBay for £112 it a 5.5hp and 2.2KW :)
