Hi there. I've had my 954 for around 3 months now and I'm starting to love it bit by bit. It's not moving me like the big twins have done previously but I'm still enjoying it. I live in Notts and was wondering if there were any really well-known garages that people take their bikes to? I want someone who knows the specific quirks and known issues if at all possible so don't just want to take it to the local place down the road. The bike starts and stops but there are a couple of issues that a non-spannering person, like me, has picked up on. I have the classic 'shite below 3k revs' problem but it did make a slight difference when I put a hurric can on it. I also have this really, really annoying buzz between 5k and 6k on both acceleration and wind-down. It drives me absolutely potty. Could be a fecked gasket or something sinister but I'd like to get rid, obviously. It's a lovely bike and I've had to adapt to only having power at instant death speeds but it's a great looking machine and I think I'll keep it because I can't afford an SP2. Thanks.
I’ve never used them but SPR Racing in Ruddington (Notts) has a really good rep. will be looking to use them in the future to help setup my 08 for track use
I lied a bit. I have used them in the past to put some tyres on and they did that without issue - but i believe they are capable of much more and always get good reviews. Looking to use them for dyno work.
