    Hi all,

I've read in many places on here about the need to fit a rad guard to save on a busted radiator sometime down the line, high cost of a replacement and the heart ache.

My question is which is best, looks good and is easiest to fit and unfit? I run a 2009 ABS model.

    Cheers all

R&G simple to fit, you don't notice it and does the job it should

Evotec for me, does the job. The bike runs a bit hotter than without one, but not enough to overheat.

i know a few lads that have made them for themselves at very little cost and just as effective as any of the mainstream rad guards out there

    Not impressed.

Had a look at fitting the R&G guard today. What's with the cutting and sticking of the little foam pads for and even when in position it didn't fit right. I might have a go later at doing it properly if not I will have an 08 on guard for sale.

I'll take it all back, had a proper look (in a better frame of mind) and yes it does fit OK.

    Thanks all for your help.

I've plumbed for the R&G, it's on order as we speak. Seen the message from MrB about the crap fit after I'd placed the order so hopefully it will fit ok.
