Can someone advise please, some sellers are saying they fit 04-07 some aren't there is a different model number for the 04/05 to the 06/07 but I can pick up an 07 one cheaper Any ideas?
Pretty sure they fit Martin.. I Know the swing arm is the same moto gp link one so shouldn't be a problem . Ohlins note than likely have a different part number as they may have slightly changed something on the shock but it shouldn't alter the mounting point etc. I had one fitted to an 07 bike that came off my pals 04. No hassle to bob it in as it came
Linkage is different, arm and shock are same, later shock would be valved for later linkage, physically they are the same. It's not stopped people using the late shock on the early linkage etc, best option would be have whatever one valved and setup, saying that I'd ask the question when setting up, do they valve etc with linkage in mind. HRC and Dan Kyle do a linkage for both years, think it's the same for all if HRC/DK but again shocks were valved for it.
