Will the Newer wheels add value?

    Hi Guys,

    I have put on 2015 repsol wheels on my 09 blade.

    Thinking of selling the bike next summer.

    Question, is shall i sell my old Repsol wheels for £450 as i have a buyer, or shall i hang on to them and swap back over when selling the bike?

    Paid £750 for the new wheels, wondering will it add any value to the sale of the bike when it comes to selling?

    Any thoughts?

    I doubt it, best sell separately
    When I sell mine I will strip back to standard and sell all the upgrades separately

    Agree - sell separate - especially if you are part exchanging - dealers don't like modified bikes - and wouldn't give you any extra.

    will be selling the bike private..

    is a £300 difference..and it ties up £450 of mine till i decide to sell..

    was hoping to get more for my old wheels but seems £450 is the most i have been offered

    If your really that bothered about the cash sell the old wheels on now while you have a buyer lined up, there is no guarantee the price of the newer wheels will stay around what you paid for them in a years time.
