Can we have a big shout for wonder wipes. These come in a plastic container from builders merchants and may be B&Q i love em. Good for getting chain lube off wheels and panels /Flies of panels tank and lights ect .They are a silicon impregnated wipe and come out of the box like tissues .The good thing about them is that you can get to areas like around the foot pedals ect .Thats all for now folks.:Banane41::Banane41:

Couldn't agree more, mate, I said as much in the "SDoc 100 is amazing" thread, but no one listens...

Looks like you and me are the only true visionaries left...(sigh...)

Yeah...now...you see, I'm seeing the spectre of the gross out fairy just beginning to pay attention to this thread and I'm starting to get a bit worried about where it's going to end up.

So let's give it a shove.

I have to warn you about burning really sensitive skin with them, but that's a risk you just have to take with wipes this wonderous.

them's the chaps I was on about, yes. They are really handy.

    But...

When it comes to body panels between washes, this is my weapon of choice.

Buy Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer from Meguiar's UK

Where I park my car at work, there's a lot of seagulls and seagull shit's like Nitromors on water based paint, so I keep a bottle of this in the boot and it is superb. I might look a bit of a prat giving the car a polish before I get in but on bone dry paint, with road dirt and crap on it this stuff doesn't leave a mark. No birdlime, tree sap or swirls.

Whatever happened to a bucket of water and a leather cloth and mr sheene?!

I use wonderwipes or swarfega hand wipes on my wheels and swingarm etc. It's great at getting tar and chain lube off

Oddly enough, despite having stuff specially made for cleaning scanner glass, which needs to be uber squeaky, Mr Sheene does a much better job. Only trumped, believe it or not by Windolene.

plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.
