I decided that i just had to have a small run today so about 4pm and although it was a :confused:touch cold i warmed the sucker up and off i went. The first roundabout was a bit of a challenge due to the steering feeling like it had no bearings or the wheels where made of wood this lasted for a good while which kind of nacked the quick blast up a tadge .So what is it ?? Is the fork oil cold or the tyres cold i know the bikes ok as its only been in the garage since the last run (Wales).

I think that's exactly what it is cold, I feel the difference too, shocks not as smooth and like you say steers like a bitch! Just wait till it warms up.

Cheers Tone but it is kind of creepy and does take a bit of skill to manage. (Must be like this all the time in Scotland )

Thanks Dude .I thought about doing this prior to lift off but you know how it is (just a small run ect) The tyres are nearly dusted perhaps one more trip and then i will have to troll through the what tyre section .

Just learn the limits of yourself and your bike in these conditions and it will help make you a better rider.
