Well I went out this aft with a mate on his GSXR 750 over Woodhead and Snake pass, god it got windy and cool with some fog thrown in for good measure. Really good fun and hope I get a bit better on them twisty's so I can keep up better We went to Sheffield and had a look at the GSXR 750 Yoshi, only 100 made and they are very nice, not for me but my mate, I'll stick with my Repsol
I was working in Rotherham last year and used Woodhead once on the blade but the amount of trucks all running together spoiled it .I think its an early Sunday summer blast but good all the same.
That used to be a regular run out of mine before I moved up to near Bolton. Out over snake pass up the A61 and back over woodhead. Perfect if I was only out for a quick blast and also for a mate of mine who travelled up from Walsall to take a Ducati streetfighter 1098 for a test ride. Took a mint pic of my old TL on ladybower layby there too.
I did Woodhead many times when I lived in Huddersfield. Sunday morning was the best time. I had quite a few favourite corners.
