Woohoo - Got me bike on the road

    Been in the garage for few months - suns out so gave it a clean, polish... :)

    I want to go away Friday evening, stay in a hotel somewhere and ride back Saturday lunch time..

    anyone got any idea's?

    I am in East London - wanting to travel up or down the country..

    Why not head down to Hampshire , goodwood,west Meon great roads local bike cafe is loomies on the A272. Plenty of places to stay welcome to join us on Saturday.:D

    M4 for as far as you can. If this side of the Severn bridge do Chedder/Burrington Coombe and the surrounding area. If Sheep shagging side do Monmouth, Abergevenny etc.

    Nth Norfolk is good ride and not too far from where you are, some great roads in the Nth Essex/Suffolk/Norfolk area en route, take the coast road from Cromer to Hunstanton. This side of Norfolk is quiet this time of year. Good local/beer and cheap 'digs' for a couple of nights

    ...Hmm..thinking..

    just dont wont to end up on Motorway type roads as these can be quite boring..

    Good couple of days that would be too!!!

    Often do lands end over two days, via 272 from tonbridge wells way onwards right through to winchester, then Salisbury, cheddar gorge, minehead and a lynmouth then the a39 down.

    Come back via dart more new forest and 272. But that's a proper full on couple of days.

    If you don't have that much time. The Norfolk option would be my next choice ;)

    Thats one hell of a route there Jimbo - think i would get bored on my own though.. lol

    can i like program a route like this in google maps on the nexus to follow?

    BORED!!!!!???? Jeez man..... What else you going to do on your own? Might as well ride lol.... Done 5 days in Scotland on my own (well 4, 1 day with col) was bliss lol.

    Not sure about the link thing mate, I'm old skool, use maps :)
