Guys, this past weekend my front wheel bearing gave up on me and because I was a bit far out of the city I had to ride for at least 70 miles until I could actually call the AA to come collect the bike.

Took it to the mechanic and fair enough had to get 2 new bearings a wheel axel and new covers etc.

Everything has arrived mechanic trying to put it back into place and the bearings are sort of lose, I have a video I'm gonna try to update.

Do you guys have any solutions or have seen that before?

Need a solution before I need to go out on the market looking for a replacement front wheel

this is a video of the problem from my google drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1reipXmQh3mUiBpc952t9BFNnPCfantM5/view?usp=sharing

would say incorrect size bearings, the movement seems very uniform with no lateral movement, although i may be wrong

rac man, I appreciate your reply, I sent him a text back saying that if there was anything we could do to rectify the problem, such as Loctite or another thing and he replied that he has fixed it already... so dunno maybe they were doing something wrong or maybe he did really fix it.

In the past at work I have put shim steel round bearings to take up the same bearing failure wear. If you get a normal set of feeler gauges and see which size is a tight in the gap. then half it and that is the shim steel you need, put some loctite on bobs your uncle

The guys have fixed somehow. I usually take my bike to Omega Bikes in NW10 (London) and there is this Portuguese experienced mechanic, recommend. I rode back home at speeds of let's see over 75 and the bike felt very good. It did get me going crazy for a bit, I'll ask though how exaclty he fixed, or maybe they tripped and thought it was loose and it wasn't... who knows...

Front bearings and axel and dust covers changed
    Rear Bearings changed
    Head Bearing changed
    Gear Indicator installed
I few bits here and there and plus they fitted a second-hand tire I had at home (Supercorsa were finished)

    All for £350
