Hi All Can't wait to book this well looking forward to it. Would have liked the elite class but your not allowed to book that one until you've done the premier class first. Will let you you all know how it goes Cheers Stu
When I read that in the new post box on the main page I thought he was going for some lessons on how to be like that crazy fecked up Osborne fulla! As for the Haslam school I can assure you that you will thoroughly enjoy the premier course and come away from the day knowing that wee bit more about what sportsbikes are capable of! We had a great day out on the premier course (even met our mod martin on the day) and we all felt the course was well worth it and the skills transferred nicely to our next run out which just so happened to be the "east meets west tour" it gave me so much more confidence in what the bikes capable of. We are planing on doing the elite course on the 600's as they are more than capable round donnington and although a lil bit slower than the 1000's but you do have a bit more time to think about what you are tryin to accomplish before the next corner comes up! I think the blade could just make everything come at you just that wee bit too fast and end up scareing yourself and hitting a learning wall rather than being able to actually progress your abilities! But that's just my opinion and I'm sure folks will say no you need the blade to get the benefits of the course and it's what everyone here (well mostly) rides all the time but I can't help but wonder why then does even the top racers start on smaller CC'd bikes to learn their race craft and not just jump on the biggest fastest bike they can get and learn on that?
Great day out and as Craig said I hope to return this year for the elite course, may try and set up a group buy again if people are interested
