Yoshi db killer issue

Hi First time on tonight and i have a small issue with my new r77 can .Not being to handy with the spanners i fitted it but it was not quite right so i twigged that i had to cut off the hard wire wrapped gasket which was on the existing exhaust (hope i am ok up to now)Anyway once fitted and all ok i decided to fit the DB Killer to see how it sounds except once i drilled out the small metal blank (looks like the head on a drawing pin)from inside of the can the bolt won't go into the tread in the baffle because it seems to be out of line .So i cut off about 20mm of the end of the baffle hoping this would reduce the crank but it is still slightly off set .My question is is this a fault in manufacture or am i missing the point.Thanks Mike.

Thanks it doe's sound good as it is but i wear ear plugs so i am not to sure if it will naff people off at high speed or am i being toy?

Somebody posted on here latley that they couldnt fit the DB killer as the hole had not been drilled properly.

If it did come under warranty you have probably voided it by cutting some.

Thanks will do ,Yup thats the builder side of me if it does'nt fit saw it and then think about it .Having said that i took it up the east lancs last night and blew away a Fat Dude on a suzuki 1400 and when he got to the lights he said it sounded awesome!(Then i blew him away again).Third Blade i have had i Had the 06 Repsol with some Goodies Then last year i got a new 08 Blade Reg 10 in the Playboy gp rep colours (Must suss out how to load photos and i will show) Like a prat i sold it and got a ZZR1400 New 2 months ago liked the power and the handling was ok but even after putting a set of yoshi cans on a seat cowl screen ect my heart wasn't in it because of the looks. So 2 weeks ago i cashed it and got the new HRC 11 which i am made up with but every time i get a bike i say i am not going to touch it then within a week bingo its in bits.Catch you later Mike.

Sorry Gents waste of time .I went to the cafe at Bloxham roundbout today and talked to a chap who had the same can as mine except he had a different baffle (ie the one i should have )needless to say thats why it won't fit.I will be looking for one if anyone has a spare .Thanks
