    Hi Chaps,

have a Yoshi R77 end can fitted to my 09 blade. When the bike is idle, the rev counter is bouncing a little, is this normal?

Or do I need a power command fitted? I don't want to damage the bike, but don't want to pay for a power command if I don't need it?

Any advice greatly appreciated. Sorry if this subject has been covered before.

    J :)

Put the baffle in and that will stop it, its the lack of back pressure that does it

i would highly recommend a power commander though, even if its a PC3

Mine has always hunted on tick over, doesn't really bother me, will do no damage to your engine, just a fueling issue, runs fine rest of the time

I have he same dilemma myself! Had my R77 on for the past couple of years and now thinking a PC3/V will smooth everything out a bit . TBH I don't notice it bouncing on idle but it's a bugger to ride at lower speeds, all a bit on/off and based on feedback I've had on here I would say the Power Commander is seriously worth considering. Cost is he issue for me through, cheapest I've found new is £275 and not sure I can justify it. If you find a distributor selling them for less I'd really appreciate he details.

I have a RR7 with no power commander, it hunts a little at tick over but it doesn't bother me at all and the bike hasn't complained yet either. I thought about a power commander buy to be fair its not worth it to me.

Mine does it less with my Yoshi R77 than it did with the Leo Vince Evo 2 that I had on there before. I generally don't worry about it too much but then I am planning on getting a bazzaz at some point which, will take that away altogether..

Mine does it a little. Doesn't really bother me that much. I have a PCV on the shopping list, but I don't see any urgency.
I'll upgrade the air filter when I do it and get the whole thing mapped.

Mine does it too and think it's down to the R77,
Going to fit a PCV and a auto tune and that will sort it.

Mine hunts on idle, but runs so bad in the lower part even worse with my daughter on the back at about 3,000rpm through bends n slow traffic, really pisses me off !!!

Going to fit it the same time as my HM Quickshift !

    Can wait.
