Looking for advise but have fitted on my 2011 Repsol Blade a Yoshimura R77 end can and I have the common problem of "hunting" on tick over and it's not as smooth at mid range so looking at putting it in for a Power Commander V and map to suit the Yoshi and to get it running better. The local Dynojet dealer has said that it is recommended that an O2 eliminator is fitted as well and. Dynojet recommends this. Has anyone fitted this end can on standard air filter and did you fit PCV and O2 eliminator or has people just fitted the PCV and did it run ok?

Usually when you buy a power commander you get an o2 eliminator with it unless it's second hand, but would recommend fitting it, as it cured the hunting on my bike with Racefit black edition

Thanks lads and it is a new PCV. Will see how it runs with map off website. Appreciate the advise and happier now that O2 eliminator would be recommended to fit also.

I'd be interested to find out how you got on with this pcv. I'm in exactly the same situation, want to get one to smooth everything out with the Yoshi R77. If you fitted the pcv yourself was it a total headache, or relatively straightforward, because I'm planning on fitting mine myself. Also, any suggestion as to where i can pick up a new pcv+O2 without breaking the bank?

    Hi Scotty
I got my pcv and O2 eliminator from demon tweeks got the pcv the eliminator and k&n filter for a good price with forum discount it's worth while giving Andy a ring or a pm from here. Fitting the PCv was really easy there's some really good install videos on the Dynojet website and if you need a map I have a custom map for the yoshi r77 that was given to me off a member on this forum which works really well I can send you

Cheers mate, I've ordered mine through demon tweeks just now, pretty good price and delivering tomorrow! I'll take a look at the installation clips that you suggested. I'm pretty comfortable with spannering but I breakout in a hot sweat when electrics are in any way involved. Lol! Yes I would also be very grateful for the custom map for the R77. I'll PM you my email address too. Cheers.

Although i don't have a blade now i do have a CB1000R and am having the PC5 fitted by Dynojet in Preston on the 14th of this month all in (with a custom map) for £400, not sure if i need an o2 eliminator as i have an ixil end can but am keeping the cat ????? Richard at Dynojet will be fitting it and i will also take up a brand new OEM air filter (given he will be in that area anyways), i will ask if he can swap it at the same time, the current one has been in 4 years so i guess it will make the tune a bit better.

So I fitted my PCV a couple of weeks ago and was surprised at just how easy it was to install! Apart from the bit where you have to thread the lead with all those connector heads through a small hole to get them out of the rear cowl cavity and down to the injectors! Perseverance and loads of swearing does pay off though and you save yourself about £100 by doing it yourself, it was well worth the very small amount of hassle!
So far I have only uploaded the map that comes with the PCV and I can't say that it has solved all of my issues, it's still a bit rough on the overrun when going slow through traffic in say first or second gear. Gonna upload the map that Gripper kindly sent through and see how that feels. Does anyone else have this problem in 1st/2nd gear? Sounds and feels a bit like its hitting the rev limiter, that on/off juddery feeling! If not, maybe I'm expecting too much from it, or I need to get a custom map done at the dyno.

PCV fitted and I also fitted a K&N from deemon tweets at the same time. The Dynojet map for the r77 and k&n had the bike running good but I loaded the map sent from rosier1uk and the bike is running a lot crisper. Cheers for that.

Apparently the PCV won't work properly unless you fit the O2 eliminator as well.
