    Hi Guys,

    Found this on my travels and thought we need to spread the word, so please spare the time to sign this petition regarding Air Ambulance fuel VAT.

    Return VAT on Air Ambulance fuel payments. - e-petitions

    From the site:-

    Return VAT on Air Ambulance fuel payments.

    The Air Ambulance Service is forced to meet rising fuel prices year on year including VAT.
    The Air Ambulance Service have saved successive governments millions and millions of pounds funded by charitable donations given by the general public to run what has proven to be an essential service.

    Whilst the Lifeboat Service has been exempt from VAT on fuel costs since 1977, a similar privilege has not been afforded to the Air Ambulance Service;

    done - nice one mate!

    those boys do a fantastic job, helped two of my pals out in the past, and sadly my dad was good friends with the guys that lost their lives in the kent air ambulance disaster.

    they need all the help they can get.

    Done, also support them by direct contribution from wages (G.A.Y.E.), helps via tax man giving some extra. Their charity cycle events are good to.

    Seen a few accidents in the Yorkshire Dales that have required their services. I now donate on a monthly basis and also give blood, chances are you could just need both of them if you have a spill.
