I don't normally dick about with my bikes.
But I'm getting the urge with my SP1
So far done my zorst, it's now a Yoshimura Alpha T.
    But what next?
I can't afford wheels. And I'll need to return it standard at the end of PCP, maybe.

I don't make many changes to mine either. Left my exhaust standard, but you gotta get the tail tidy happening - unless you've already done it since your last pics. (I have R & G).

I wouldn't even change levers because the adjustability is so good with the OEMs.

I'll be at NEC in November also - probably spend more time at the hamburger stand than than the exhibits!:D

The best mod you could possibly make is a number plate befitting such a great bike! https://www.plates4less.co.uk

Tail tidy is on my To-Do list.
I'm wanting to be different (don't know why) and not get an R&G one. The last one I got came from (can you believe this) Tasmania. but that was back in 2012. After complaints from Barney, previous 1000RR forum member, that my waggy arse was distracting. This was whilst out on a forum run in Wales. I don't normally get complaints about my waggy arse because usually I'm at the back and no one is following me.
I also fitted it myself but I will entrust this task this time to the dealer.

Hey, it's an old pic - two days after receiving the bike.

Can't do a current pic though - you'll see very little difference!!:):)

I would say tank grips, and don't rule out some nice gold short levers

I buy my bikes cash and keep all my OEM parts when upgrading, I simply put it all back to standard when I sell the bikes and then sell on the upgrades, I would have thought you could do the same with PCP?

I have the Gilles GP rearsets..so easy to adjust. Just one turn of a hex socket and you can adjust them fully.

From a guy that spent way more money on his bike than he should, in extras/mods ranging from "must have" to "completely useless", I have to day, if I ever get a new bike, new #1 thing I'll put on the bike is a Brembo front brake master cylinder, like the 19RCS. That and braided steel brake lines.
It's nice to have carbon parts, a cool sounding exhaust, a tuned fuel injection module, etc, but the one thing I feel my money was most well spent was in that.

Interesting. Only yesterday I was wondering about this because many of the track riders swear by Brembo Master cylinders.

Of course I am more than happy with my OEMs, but how would we know there is much better if we don't experience it? I might explore further!:)

I thought my bike braked really well, until I tried a BMW fitted with all Brembo braking components.
When I fitted the 19RCS in my 08, man... worlds apart.

Also relevant to this thread, I got a quote from Dream Machine (http://www.dream-machine.co.uk/) today for a special paint job.

Bit dearer than I thought, £1,500.00 all up which includes collecting and returning the bike by their own van. This would be a rather severe mod, and one that couldn't really be re-couped on sale - whenever that might be. Just posted for info.

Thanks for your interest, @hitch , although I find it excruciatingly difficult to take you seriously with that avatar!

I am interested in both the RCV scheme:
    honda-rc213vs.jpg

    and the Suzuka 8-hour:
    Honda-CBR1000rr-2018-SP-Fireblade-Suzuka-8-Hour-_1.jpg

As mentioned, this is a major expense merely for a couple of fairings and tank and seat. Am presently checking other prestige painters.
