hello folks, My headlight keeps blowing, 2004 model. I recently changed it, and it was fine for a few days, but then today it was popped, the main beam/pass beam are all fine? Bike starts ok, runs fine and I have indicators etc.

Has anyone got any simple suggestions, I did notice that the headlight fits into a unit, which the cables are attached too.

May sound daft, but its all new to me.

Did you touch the glass of the bulb with your fingers. Oil from fingers will burn on the glass causing a hotspot. Otherwise a bad connection.
