The original complaint was that he was told the Limited Edition was limited to 150 bikes. Nowhere is there any mention of this in Honda's marketing. Otherwise Limited Edition could mean almost any number - the number of starts in the sky visible to the sales managers' naked left eye, on a mildly cloudy August night, in the French Riviera, whilst sitting in the back of a 1992 Ford Fiesta with a crash helmet on ! So show us the 150. As an example here is Aston Martin's website showing clearly in their marketing what they mean by limited edition - they say it in the first sentence: http://www.astonmartin.com/en/gt12
Am not defending honda but whether advertised as limited or special edition they did only import 150 units to the uk in the hrc colours! The 2015 sp is in repsol colours so is not the same bike so haven't breached limited or special numbers as people keep moaning about. If you want a limited edition bike buy one that has a stamp on it saying its number so and so of 100 or the like, if it don't say that expect further bikes to be sold similar
Wasn't the rule of thumb dealers would only be allocated one ABS and one non ABS and that is the lot?
This article says 5000 worldwide for 2014 http://www.sportrider.com/sportbikes/special-delivery-2014-honda-cbr1000rr-sp-road-test-review
It's the 'winter testing' edition... Looks mint tbh. But bit obsolete now the new 16 zx is out Least with the blade and the sp you know it's wont be trumped next year
TBH I like the Black un a tadge more than the KRT (Green) one but Green it'll have to be, as that way it'll look the same as my current Anniversary one and hence Wifey will not notice the upgrade!
The black looks fantastic though..... The old one in the dealers yest really did look good.... Just tell her you've crashed again and need new fairings..... Oh wait....
But you will need to ask hur for both your credit cards and your balls back before you could buy it anyway!
I hope your not planning on puttin a dress on an hittin up the bank and forging the wifey's signature for a loan........although if you do remember forum rules pics or it never happened!
I operate my Bike financing 'schemes' on a 'need 2 know' basis! I need to know, she doesn't! Recipe for a happy and peaceful marriage!
