Had to wait 4 weeks for them to be made but it was worth it Racebikebitz were excellent to deal with and gave a forum discount ! So would recommend them to anyone after hoses Shame the fairings have to go on and hide them really but what you can see looks great
Looks very good .... I've been toying with the urban camo ones for mine, looks like they'll have to be bought
Nice one Fudster, I love those, I sore them on a ZX-10R tracker at cadwell and fell in love, then when they did them with Orange !!! lol
They are Samco stainless clamps, they were extra but discounted as well, on the SFS hoses I used the OE clamps but looking at the quality over the std ones I am glad I bought these this time around
Don't know much about these Samco pipes, are they just fancy pipes fort water cooling ? Anyone wanna enlighten me ?
The speel is :- Q: Why should I buy silicone hoses? A: For the best looks and performance it has to be silicone. Silicone hoses operate at much higher temperatures and pressures than other rubbers, they don’t perish, and they look great. If you are tuning your engine and pushing it to its limit, you don’t want your hoses to let you down –that’s why Formula One teams choose SamcoSport. If you want the best Silicone Hoses, choose SamcoSport. In all honesty its basically a looks thing, the bike runs a few degrees lower on temp, the hoses will last longer than OE, you go from 11 to 7 pipes so less potential leak points.
Yep that's the sales data, my bike was perfect for me the day I collected it standard, but you get drawn in to some bling, but hay why not they look great IMO. Blade running Evans. Home made blue Revotec hoses and Evans. 848 Samco and Evans. Mine all look a bit plane what with Jamie's fancy camo hoses!
