What did you do to your bike today???

    What size rear I am fitting my own today £231 delivered for rear 55/190 so £260 fitted sounds good to me :)

    Honestly the best tyre I have ever used on the road 5k ish on the CB1k still looked new and wet or dry absolutely amazing ! Love em :)

    Had my suspension properly set up by Reactive Suspension near York.
    The bike definitely felt more settled into the corners but obviously couldn't really give it a proper test..cold, damp and icy roads... Grrrr

    Certainly worth doing though :)

    Mine will be setup properly next year.

    In the meantime just bought an alloy petrol tank for the blade which will save 2 kilos

    Fitting Titanium Race bolts

    Been fitting Ti race bolts to Blade today , Nearly changed all of them now .
    Not cheap but a quality upgrade .

    Can i just ask n im prob being a numpty here, but how do ya check the wheel balancing on them axle stands??

    And take it them are Pilot Road 3's ??

    Take it winter doesnt harm these like the oe nuts n bolts?? N how much for a set dude??

    PR3s yes and its a static balance, the heaviest part of the wheel drops to to bottom you then add weight opposite to balance the wheel, once you can rotate the wheel through 90 degrees and it doesn't move or does very slightly its balanced :)

    It rotates on the spindle which rests on the two axel stands

    And take it doing it urself saves sum heavy handed tyre fitter scratching or scuffing your nice shiny wheels?? ( i really hate that tbh )

    lol true also waiting to find the part number for the SP subframe to further reduce the bikes weight
