I'm wasnt 100% happy with their customer service but couldn't fault what they did. They told me a price then it went up by £80 when I phoned up to pay, also they say it will take a week but it's more like 2 - 3. Believe they did the same to Martin.. It's why I don't very often mention them.
I agree with the above, took double the quoted time to complete, constantly failed to return calls when promised. I did pay less than quoted tho
So, im probabley stating the obvious to most people but its the spacer on the right of the bike that dictates the wheel center, the spacer on the left is the same diameter as the spindle so sets accordinley.
Having alittle bother finding suitable M6 x 25 mm bolts for my discs, I ordered some high tensile bolts but the head of the bolt is only 10mm where the Honda ones are healthy 14mm. Any thoughts ?
Ah ok, not sure about those mate, tbh I think you'd risk rounding them out before getting them tight enough, I'd use a stainless probolt/racebolt tbh.
Had a step in the right direction today, spindle spacers made. New probolt ti disc bolts arrived. Got the Dan moto silencer modified to fit my micron headers and link pipe.
There are nice discs on your bike Arthur, strange bobbins which look like they are bolted on. Which model is that please?
They are Brembo T drives Peter, rather than use a round floater to decouple the disc from the carrier they use a T shaped guillotine, the lower part of the T slides into the carrier so load is forced against the flat side of the T, it's a more effective way of dealing with the forces and allowing the disc to expand and contact with heat. Invented some time back in the UK and common on PFM discs now re branded and used by Brembo in the racing range of discs. How I like to complicate a simple question lol
Calipers are only half the equation! T drives are 5.5mm thick and transform braking to another level! Had them since they were released. Only downsides are heavy as 5.5mm and noisy. But WELL worthy! Better than ductile iron or CMC IMO.
