Can you see I have cut the orange/green wire?

The clock side is connected to earth, you will find a couple of green wires in the same loom connected together

I was stripping all mine off anyway so I removed the radiator and header...be careful of seized studs on the header, I snapped one, a world of pain!

Nightmare. I read on the abs removal thread that you need to utilise the 2 existing plugs needed to power the starter motor from the abs loom. So to recap i need to perform the removal of the hardware then utilize the plugs and finally modify the front loom for the abs light?

That is correct, modify the loom to continue to provide power to started solenoid, cut the wire from the clock and short it to earth and remove all of the junk hardware or only the bits ypu want to remove, that is up to you

Did the abs light modification today and it worked great. Is it supposed to stay off during initialization once i switch on the bike? Basically now is off all the time.

I believe my light illuminates for a couple of seconds as the systems initialise, then stays off.

You connected the orange/green to a green earth wire ?

Yes i did but mine stays off all the time. I connected the orange green to the thicker green as shown in the picture you have posted previously. However i have removed the abs fuse. I am guessing thats why the light is off. Update: i have plugged in the abs fuse but the light is still off.
I forgot to mention that i did not remove anything from the abs system. Only the fuse and the brake lines.
