It was the akropovic map which contained the scorpion map :), they told me to use the yoshi map as it is the closest map to the akrapovic until I get a custom map done

Ah yes,my mistake, I remembered a map was wrong but thought it was the yosh map. Cheers Jamie. Well out of ideas now about bladeHRC's bike running lumpy. The PCV done wonders for mine but every bike is different.

I know what you mean about the PCV, my bike is smooth as you like now with just a generic map.

Really improved things for me, thiink once I get it mapped it will be even better if thats possible :high5:

Just looked at the maps on the CD and there arent half as many maps on the CD as on the website. These two for example are not on the disk...

M16-002-507 Yoshimura slip-on exhaust with baffle, Stock or aftermarket air filter, Dynojet O2 eliminator fitted
M16-002-508 Yoshimura slip-on exhaust, Stock or aftermarket air filter, Dynojet O2 eliminator fitted

    Anyone tried the above?

Weather is starting to close in here on the west coast of Mid Wales :-(

I am using the 508 map, however, I have a Akrapovic slip on, this is the best I could do from Dynojet, it is very smooth though :)

I'm going to load up the 508 map today, but might not get a chance to try it out. What made you try the 508 map with the Akra? ... or were you just going through them all to see which worked?

Dynojet told me to use the 508 they said it was the closest to the akrapovic set up, because the akrapovic map actually contains a scopion map (they messed up).

It does seem very well suited though. Still getting a custom map when I get some cash spare which may be some time at this rate

I put the 508 map on, but if anything it's worse than the other map IMHO! Tick over and low revs is horrible. Maybe that's just how it is when you remove the cat and power valve and have an open exhaust?

Someone said theirs run better with the DB killer in, so I suppose I better get one to try. Otherwise its a dyno session for peace of mind, which I will probably do anyway even if the DB killer helps smooth things out.

Did you get ur zorst Dan? Must say that ebay listing looks dodgy as hell... but fingers x-ed all's good!

Maybe it's just me being fussy... but I would definitely say that the bike is more lumpy low down than before any mods. Tick over is not smooth, it constantly goes "brap-brap-brap-brap", even when riding slowly through town its as if its hunting so I'm pulling the clutch in and coasting a little at low speed to smooth it out instead of just driving slowly. Will be interested to see how you get on with urs Dan.
