Well..... after being told my battery and my charging system was fine... I got my own multimeter and it appears the battery was fine at 12.7v but...
Haha, I'm an idiot I thought that was metal holding it in place All done.... bike stripped of the stator and regulator and tucked away waiting...

Went back to bike and found the bolts holdingredients the stator in place were only finger tight (muppets) so I took em off and will replace with...

Good plan. I'll pick up a hacksaw tomorrow. (I work away from home so need to build up my tools here lol.
I don't own anything for doing that sort of work unfortunately and I'd end up paying someone the same amount as it would cost from the case probably
