The solution works good for the up and down motion of the Quad Lock, although the rubber grommets inside will rotate (with a little bit of force)....
I have this exact issue. Bought a new Fireblade 2016 SP, but now my quadlock (which I had on 2010 CBR600RR and 2010 Fireblade) won't fit anymore....
