The lever is not full back to the bar mate, first it is feel solid and then soft and the lever move about 1 - 1,5cm to the bar (just sometimes when I ride in heavy traffic but I am worry about this issues). I still hope someone had use DOT 5.1 brake fluid for this bike tell his feel about the brake, is there any difference then using DOT 4 on this bike.

As I mentioned earlier "I think there is something in the owners manual regarding inconsistent lever feel at low speed being a characteristic of the system". Have you got an Owners Manual with the bike? I had mine from nearly new and it was definitely inconsistent at low speed.

I don't think the brake fluid type will make a difference. What might make a difference is doing a full bleed of the system if the fluid is 5 years old and has never been changed. The complexity of the system often means that owners don't bother changing the fluid.

I would agree brake fluid type probably makes no difference, Who said use dot 5 as I have not heard of this before

    I have just read this
    DOT 5[edit]
DOT 5 is a silicone-based fluid and is separate from the series of DOT 2, 3, 4, 5.1. It is immiscible with water, and with other brake fluids, and must not be mixed with them. Systems can change fluid only after a complete system changeover, such as a total restoration.

It contains at least 70% by weight of a diorgano polysiloxane.[5] Unlike polyethylene glycol based fluids, DOT 5 is hydrophobic.[6] An advantage over other forms of brake fluid is that silicone has a more stable viscosity index over a wider temperature range. Another property is that it does not damage paint.[citation needed]

DOT 5 brake fluid is not compatible with anti-lock braking systems. DOT 5 fluid can aerate when the anti-lock brake system is activated. DOT 5 brake fluid absorbs a small amount of air requiring care when bleeding the system of air.[7

    No one said use 5.0.
However 5.1 is a good upgrade from 4.0.

Thank you, I got the owners manual. I just ride my bike today after several days take it to a bike workshop - I feel the brake is very good than it before. The owner of workshop told me that CBR1000RR 08 - 16 he knew always got that issues like me, don't worry about it too much. And they completely change new DOT 4 brake fluid for me, now I am happy and enjoy it at weekend.

BTW: Thank you everyone so much.

I have had this happen with a 2017 CBR1000RR - at road race speed in tight corners in Tasmania.
I put it down to pads at the end of their servicable life (~20000km on pads) - They had heaps of meat left but the ABS system could not handle the pistons being so far out. I have not had this problem since replacing pads <20000km.

This is a pic from a while ago when I had a 2012 model.
As you can see the lever is back to the bar with only one finger.

You need to earth the orange/green wire coming away from the clocks (as in not coming from the loom towards the clocks). Then when you turn the key on the ABS light will come on for a few seconds and then extinguish.

A very interesting thread , mixed reviews , some hate the C-ABS , saying it’s dangerous yet others love it and have praised it for being a life saver .
