When I got my 06 I asked Mark at BSD what exhaust to go for as I wanted a full system. I really wanted the Akra Evo titanium but could not source one, even wrote to them direct and they did not have any. Also recommended was Arata and Arrow. I went for the Arata as Mark said I would get better power gains and that they were exceptionally well made. Not the greatest looking exhaust but in black I can live with it. Bike was fitted with PC and mapped and puts out 168 bhp and 83 torque which was a gain of approx 12 bhp and 4 torque. Exhaust is mega light and the headers are a work of art internally.
cant go wrong with akky or Arata.I do like arata stuff,had full Ti race system on my zx10r and sounded awesome,plus they are very good at noise levels.no baffle needed on a full can.had the full 60mm Ti akky on my 07 blade,again nice sound and no noise issues (at 102db) without the baffle.
I was going to buy a Arata race system, But I have a Leo Vince Evo Race system, Brought direct from the factory Italy.
I had that laser on my rr5! You don't see many with it and it does sound really nice but its pretty heavy compared with the race style exhaust

Yes sorry I realised about the dollars shortly after, should have posted. Disappointed to hear about the weight of the laser. That was(is) my first choice and in second I was thinking the jardine. Is it better to have it fitted at a garage or shall I have a go ? Need to consider cost to, those full system are probably close to £1k
The Way titanium goes blue after a good heat cycle is intoxicating to look at! Can't wait to get my system sorted
I have the carbon akrapovic slip on. Sounds great, excellent build quality with easy to fit baffle. For trackday noise testing it makes 98db at 5500 rpm without baffle. The link pipe now has a nice blue tint to it too.
