Made it to Les Cabannes by 18:30, walked into bar and greeted by loads of old friends, like going home after a year. The others are in Sort so we will set a meet up location tomorrow - weather forecast not looking the best so make the most while dry I guess. Weather great from limoges south.
Back at the hotel, early night and a game of cards I think? right, what we've been doing today. 1st off, we need coffee Left Jacca after a heavy night, headed out towards Andorra on the Holy Grail known as the N-240/N-260. Pulled in here, old town that was abandoned after some great flood way back? Whilst up on the top Steve showed his love for me Stopped off at Aiensa for a three hour dinner. Caught up on some sun Stopped off at this place N-260 That's it for now, got some nice rear video footage from today, not as good as forward but the camera mount ain't doing too well. Had an amazing ride around 150 miles, not massive, but the smile per mile was worth any distance.
Good ride again today, although the roads are so different since the last time I came. It amazes me how many millions this almost bankrupt country is spending on updating it's roads and we pay as much into the EEC as they draw out and we can't even maintain ours! Tea wasn't so good tonight as I was talked into beer and turd pizza swilled down with a few bottles of Desperado beer, although lunch was quite pleasant in Ainsa, I dined on Foie Gras and smoked salmon with goats cheese..........luuuurrrrvvly. Must remember to bring my smoking jacket next time. Tomorrow we're due to meet up with Al..........that'll be interesting given that we set off riding this morning at 10.50am then stopped for lunch which lasted until 15.00pm! Not exactly Al's idea of a quick bite! So, this evening we're staying in the famed resort of Sort........Gateway for all that's good about biking, let's just hope the weather holds out as it's pretty high up. Early to bed tonight as we did have quite a heavy night last night. As I type Jason is in his pit snoring away, we need to be good and fresh for the rollercoaster that awaits us tomorrow! Ha, first to post ahead of 'The Razor' who earned the title today. Awesome afternoons riding after checking into hotel in pass de la cassa in Andorra. Beer in hand and dinner is at 8:30. Lots of photos to follow no doubt...
What a day. Not many pics to come in afraid. Met Al at 12.00 'another Story' He took us in some familiar roads to him this afternoon. In say here now and u just feel like I've played a video Game for 10 hrs. If I close my eyes all I see us bends bends bends. And even if I do say so my myself...... I handled it pretty well.
Fantastic 3 course meal with hotel and breakfast for €38 each Is cold up here in the mountains at night mind, roasting hot in Spain. Tunnel toll was €9.40 for the 5km but huge time / distance / fuel save and mint roads. My bike feels really poorly - still goes but for how long another matter!
Awesome afternoon for a tank of juice. Tomorrow a bit more chilled with visit to solar furnace (walkie talkie building in London has nothing on this thing) Then few more left right left right bits of road and back to same hotel so luggage leas day for Sunday.
Scorching hot today but was cloud at base. The 3 amigos are having a rest / chill day in Andorra, I am doing a familiar loop to prades, Quillan, ax le thermes and back to hotel, maybe via ax 3 domains ski area. Thankfully the international Scottish chain of restaurants has air con and free WiFi!

Well the fantastic four are now the three Amigos as Jason has headed west to Biarritz for the night before his return ferry the next morning from Bilbao. We checked into a hotel or another bargain of €26 each inc breakfast. Scorching today and great roads again. Lots of knee down footage and did my favourite road to veihla from sort. Off out to explore town and no doubt a beer or 2 along the way.
