I had them on my GSXR 1000 and R1 no issues .At the time they were the newest out and as such had to have them as they came with Rossi testing bla bal but we all seem to chase the newest must have and the cycle continues .

I changed to a 55 profile Si and much prefer it personally. Quicker steering as the rear is raised by 10mm but stability is not compromised. Plus it has a bigger contact patch when laid over but not enough to stop you loosing the back and high siding at Oulton Park apparently :(

It's a must Si. The bike feels so much better banked over. It also tips in easier. Not to fast though, just easier.

GB's on tyres are a nightmare imo as all like different tyres...lol I supply all makes of tyres (other than Maxxis) but its the shipping thats a pain in the a$$! Tbh some of the deals on eBay are near Trade! Its fitting where most money is made, some trade deals on SOME makes are good but top brands/models not much can be done.

I've got the ABS model mate and a standard hugger, it fits no probs. Also had a power bronze hugger fitted with no problems. The 55 is taller mate. 190 is the width, 55 is the height and 17 is the size of rim. Ie 17"

I'm running Dunlops. Reason I'm saying is that I've heard other manufacturers have a larger diameter than others by up to 10mm.

Thanks Colin .I suppose the question now stands with a note on other tyres due to Diameter.

To be honest mate I don't quite understand it as the dia SHOULd be the same for all 55 tyres.
Only reason that I can think of there being a difference is with softer side walls etc letting the tyre expand once speed is up ???
