Just to bump the thread- Any more interest in the group buy for tyres, and also the question of how people can pay please.

I may be in and also a mate of mine could be, just waiting on some info back.....all very covert this you know ;)

Paypal gift sent payments are easy gents, for a couple of hundred quid nobody should pick up a Paypal charge

Once we get details of who wants them, I need to PM katch all the info then people can pay via CC, DC, or Paypal direct to katch. I posted up his website and shop. he owns a bike shop local to me so not just a mate getting them on the side ;)

Would a 55 rear be better than the standard 50? And will it 'bolt' straight onto a 05 without fouling the hugger? Sorry to ask stupid question but my bike in my mates garage still, so cant get at it readily with a tape measure

I had the 55 with hugger. Fits perfect, no issues. Mine was the genuine Honda hugger too.

I have tried the 55 profile with standard and aftermarket Honda hugger and was fine with both.

chaps once we have 15 sets everyone wants. I will contact katch re ordering them. He would need payment of course up front and will send them all out to each of us once he has got the money in. So if one person takes their time to pay they will not be send out. As katch needs to order like 2k's worth in bulk. |His suggestion was to PM me your Name addy, forum tag and tel. he may then give you a bell etc... and sort it out from there

Remal, in the off chance that we can't get the 15 buyers as things seem to be getting a bit slow, would your contact be willing to do a deal for a 10 person group buy?

I'm in no rush mate but it would a bit disappointing to miss out in a good deal.

I think spiked tyres would be more suitable to the current conditions surely :)

I'm in for some tyres but still not entirely sure what yet, also I'd rather at least wait til feb minimum as I'm running out of money since new year and Xmas

Can't see a few more weeks waiting for tyres making much difference. Weather's crap anyway.
