No room for luggage then and you would need cloths for 2

Can do 2-up + luggage with the Ventura system. Also good for the pillion to use the grab-handle for when you're not carrying the luggage.

just looked at the ventura system and would be idea for for the blade. OK £270 is allot but keeps it out of the way and connected to the bike well

Matt, there's no more to be said except that I'm so bloody envious of you that if it wasn't for the fact that you've had to sleep in a bag for the last week, I'd never speak to you again.

Yeah, it's probably too expensive just for a sole rider but for 2-up there's not much option otherwise. The grab-handle is a bonus for the pillion, too. I probably use that more than the actual luggage, which is only used for Euro trips really. Also it's a doddle to get the bars off and return to stock.

The reason we take the van with the two bike is

    1. 400 miles plus to Folkestone we only have to pay for 1 tank of fuel saves the price for 2 bikes

    2. We have nice fresh tyres for ther tour

    3. We can take the van leave it in France if one of the bike has a problem i have tools in the van to sort it or to pick it up

    4. If its pissing on holiday we can take the van and have a drive around

    5. Also if we fancy going out just in van we can leave the bikes no problems

    6. Plus there is 2 people doing the driving instead of one......... the drive from Scotland is so boring on the motorway

    7. Children dont always want to sit on a bike all day its bad enough in the car ( when will we be there, what time we going home)
